The first MMI multimodal single-cell acquisition workstation configured with a ZEISS AXIO Observer 7 fully motorized inverted fluorescence microscope host has been installed at Ningxia Medical University.

According to the Chinese announcement, this configuration is the first MMI single-cell acquisition system in China paired with a motorized ZEISS microscope host, marking the formal start of official cooperation between MMI and ZEISS, the German optics company, on this workstation line.

The MMI single-cell acquisition workstation mainly comprises the following systems:
MMI single-cell laser microdissection system (CellCut)
MMI single-cell isolation system (CellEctor)
MMI multimodal whole-slide scanning system (CellScan)
MMI automated target-cell recognition system (CellDetector)
The workstation is designed to obtain single cells and homogeneous cell populations in an automated manner from multimodal samples, including paraffin and frozen tissue sections, cell suspensions, smears, and cultured adherent live cells.
Different single-cell acquisition functions are integrated on one optical platform and controlled by one software environment, which improves overall system utilization.
The primary application focus is single-cell spatial multi-omics research. Additional research directions may be extended according to institutional needs, making the workstation a candidate platform for university and research-institute core facilities.

For scientific research use only; not for clinical diagnostic use.
