From 27 September to 1 October 2026, the 25th Human Proteome Organization World Congress (HUPO 2026) was held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The congress theme was “Proteomics Plus: Transforming Lives.” German Molecular Machines & Industries (MMI) was listed among the confirmed exhibitors and completed its exhibition in the industry and innovation area. Oriental Horizon Technology Co Ltd(北京) / 北京欧浩科技有限公司, as the official authorized agent of German MMI in China, followed the congress programme and continues to support Chinese research scholars and students with subsequent inquiries and demonstration arrangements.

Discussion at the German MMI booth

As spatial proteomics and single-cell proteomics advance, mass-spectrometry platforms have become increasingly mature, yet sample acquisition often remains a bottleneck: how to excise regions of interest or individual cells from tissue sections while preserving morphological coordinates for downstream analysis. For life-science and spatial multi-omics research, MMI provides system solutions that can be integrated on research-grade microscope platforms, including the CellCut laser microdissection system, the CellScan multimodal whole-slide scanning system, and the CellEctor single-cell isolation system, among others.

During the congress, German MMI formally announced that the CellCut HT high-throughput single-cell laser microdissection system is now accepting orders. According to the manufacturer’s description, CellCut HT combines the CellCut laser microdissection system with the CellRobot high-throughput automation solution. Target single cells can be automatically dissected along a defined path and collected into 96-well plates, reducing manual handling time and improving batch consistency for research workflows that require higher-throughput sampling, such as spatial proteomics. Existing CellCut users may also upgrade by adding CellRobot to form CellCut HT. For domestic order interest, upgrade paths, configuration discussion, and on-site or remote demonstrations, please contact Oriental Horizon Technology Co Ltd(北京), the official authorized agent of German MMI in China.

Research groups that wish to complete whole-slide scanning, region-of-interest dissection, and collection quality control within one inverted research-grade microscope workflow may consider CellScan together with CellCut in their methodological planning. For higher-throughput single-cell collection, CellCut HT may be discussed further. For single-cell collection from suspension samples, CellEctor is available separately. CellManipulator optical tweezers, CellDetector, ShapeImport, and related options may also be discussed according to project needs.

The congress closed on 1 October 2026. Researchers and students who wish to continue discussing spatial proteomics sampling strategies, CellCut HT ordering or upgrades, or domestic demonstration arrangements are invited to contact the China channel below. For scientific research use only; not for clinical diagnostic use.
